When I say Gold Coast to someone, they nearly always mention Surfers Paradise, or Mermaid Beach, or Burleigh Heads. That's no surprise, really, as those are all very popular and well known tourist destinations.
But what about those of us who are a little more discerning, perhaps, seeking something just a little more special, peaceful and private? To those people, I have one word - Broadbeach.
Broadbeach holiday accommodation has to be my favourite. It manages to be modern and luxurious, but without the need for huge skyscrapers, like Surfers. And while everything you need is right there, including some of the best restaurants in Australia, there's still a sense of history and charm.

Easy access
Holiday accommodation in Broadbeach gives you easy access to everything - so much so that you don't really even need a car. The beach is on the doorstep, and a huge choice of international restaurants are a short stroll away. There are bars, cafes, ice-creameries and shops right there, including major shopping facilities at the Oasis or Pacific Fair.
Even if you fancy a trip out to the beautiful hinterland, you can do that without your car, as there are plenty of very good tours on offer.
