Checking Out The Best Restaurants In Broadbeach

What makes the perfect holiday? Generally it's a range of factors, such as location, climate, nightlife, facilities and, of course, great restaurants. Broadbeach on the Gold Coast has all that in abundance, including the region's most famous restaurant strip.

Surf Parade incorporates some of the best restaurants in Broadbeach and now they are better than ever, thanks to a recent multi-million dollar makeover, ready for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. You could quite literally eat your way around the world here, with the amazing choice of international cuisines on offer.

Indulge Yourself

Restaurants in Broadbeach range from world class fine dining to family fish and chips by the beach, so there's something to suit everybody's taste and budget. Dining out is one of the best things about being on holiday, as it's a chance to indulge yourself and try new flavours.

My advice would be to choose a resort within walking distance of Surf Parade - that way you can leave your car safe and sound at the resort and avoid expensive taxi fares, too. Besides, a stroll along the beach is the best way to round off the perfect meal!

Amazing Seafood

As you would expect in a seaside location, the seafood in Broadbeach is amazing! You'll discover many restaurants specialising in fish and seafood buffets. But if seafood isn't your thing, don't be concerned! There are plenty of other choices, including tapas bars, sushi, buffets and steak houses, as well as Italian food, pizza and  burgers.

Special Occasions

If you're celebrating a special occasion, like an anniversary or a birthday, I recommend heading over to Jupiters Casino Broadbeach. Jupiters offers an amazing range of restaurants, including delicious Japanese food at Kiyomi; traditional Italian at Cucina Vivo, and the famous seafood buffet at Food Fantasy.

After you've dined, you can try your hand in the casino, or take in a magnificent show at the casino, before strolling back to your resort.

Broadbeach Apartments Are Great For Weekends, Or Weeks

If you're considering a holiday on the Gold Coast, you'll find a fantastic choice of accommodation in Broadbeach, so close to the beach.

Broadbeach is one of those fabulous holiday destinations where you can do as much, or as little, as you wish. There's plenty going on, that's for sure, from weekend markets to the Bonjour French Festival and the ever popular Blues on Broadbeach weekend.

But equally, if you just want to chill out poolside or relax on the beach, you'll find that too.

Cafes and Restaurants

This suburb has it all, including an amazing array of cafes and restaurants, and booking Broadbeach apartments is certainly the way to go when it comes to accommodation.

Convenience, privacy, luxury, it's all there when you choose one of the famous beachside resorts, and it's possible to snap up some pretty hot deals, too.

As with the rest of the Gold Coast, Broadbeach is gearing up ready for the Commonwealth Games in 2018. Many improvements are being made to the area, and it's the locals and the visitors who are benefitting.

In The Spotlight

In fact, Broadbeach will be in the spotlight more than famous Surfers Paradise, and is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar makeover. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, close to the Phoenician Resort, will host the netball and basketball events.

But why wait until then to visit! Check out some of the great accommodation deals online and you could be enjoying a weekend away right now. Or gather up the kids, buckets and spades, book an air-conditioned apartment, and stay for a week or two.

Broadbeach is easy to get to, by road, rail and air, and is conveniently placed to access everything the Gold Coast is famous for. With 70km of coastline, 270km of navigable waterways, theme parks, world class shopping and entertainment, and gourmet dining, what more could you ask for!

Gold Coast Restaurants Right On The Doorstep At The Phoenician

Queensland's Gold Coast has always been known for amazing beach holidays, and famous for its major events and theme parks but, over the last few years, it has also earned itself a reputation as a real foodie destination.

One of the reasons for this is the growth - and current rejuvenation - of Surf Parade, the famous restaurant strip located in Broadbeach. A $1 million streetscaping project is well underway, transforming the strip into a people-friendly dining and entertaining precinct.

Best Alfresco Dining

With on-street parking scrapped, and pavements widened, it will now be even more of a pleasure to wander along the strip, enjoying the ambience and choosing where to have dinner. Alfresco dining is about to get even better!

The great thing about Gold Coast restaurants is the choice, and range of budget options. From traditional seaside fish and chips to gourmet cuisine and silver service, it's all here. The range of flavours is quite amazing and you can just about eat your way around the world!

Proximity to the dining strip is just one of the great things I personally love about the Phoenician Resort at Broadbeach. Like most people, I enjoy a good wine with dinner, which usually means an expensive taxi ride home. But here, you can leave your car in the resort's secure undercover parking bay and walk.

Step Out For Something Sweet

And after a substantial meal, a slow stroll back to your apartment along the beachfront is just perfect! It's almost like having your own Phoenician restaurant onsite.

Of course, with the resort apartments boasting fully equipped kitchens, many guests like to eat in, and then go out for dessert. Stop in for coffee and something sweet, or enjoy a freshly made gelato as you wander along the beach under the moonlight.

If you're a bit of a foodie, and you've never been to Broadbeach, you're really missing out!

Phoenician Resort Offers The Best Accommodation In Broadbeach

I was talking to a colleague the other day, who said she had been to the Gold Coast only once before, and had stayed in Surfers Paradise, and would never go back! I asked why, and she said it was all "too busy and glittery".

Time for a coffee and a chat, I thought, while I proved to her that 'all that glitters' is not the Gold Coast!

Stylish And Family Friendly

A lot of people seem to be under the impression that all Gold Coast resort areas are the same, but they're really not. Take Broadbeach, for example. This lovely leafy suburb combines pristine patrolled beaches, with lush green parks and a massive system of wonderful navigable waterways - a far cry from the all night parties at Surfers!

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty to entertain you in Broadbeach, it's just, well, a little more refined, and family-friendly.

When it comes to Broadbeach accommodation, I generally recommend the Phoenician Resort, for several reasons. For starters, it's just 100m from the beach, and walking distance from some of the best restaurants on the Gold Coast!

Close to Everything

There is plenty to entertain you nearby, yet it's centrally placed for those wishing to visit the theme parks, or head out to the glorious Gold Coast hinterland.

The apartments here are impeccable: choose from spacious one and two-bedroom configurations, knowing that whichever one you choose, you will still benefit from private balconies, fully equipped kitchens, private laundry, air-conditioning, security system and more.

Hot Deals

There's a lot of accommodation in Broadbeach but the Phoenician tops the bill. And that's largely because of its magnificent resort facilities, including both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spas, sauna, gym, games room . . . you name it, they have it.

But what else would you expect from a state-of-the-art, AAA 4 Star rated resort? Hot deals? Yes, the Phoenician has those, too! In fact, that colleague of mine just booked one!

Gold Coast Accommodation Specials At The Phoenician Resort

It's that time of year when our thoughts turn to summer holidays and we jump online to check out what Gold Coast accommodation specials are available. And why not, as this stretch of the Queensland coast has to be one of the best locations in Australia for a well-earned break.

The Gold Coast is much loved for many reasons: the endless beaches, great surfing, the canals, the natural beauty and wildlife, as well as being a very affordable place to indulge in some luxury! And when it comes to luxury apartments on the Gold Coast, it's hard to go past the Phoenician Resort at Broadbeach.

So Close To Everything

This leafy beachside suburb is as popular with families as it is with couples, offering a wonderful laidback atmosphere, an impressive range of cafes and restaurants, great shopping and the casino, all still within easy reach of the ever-popular theme parks.

The Phoenician Resort is centrally located, just 100 metres from the beach, and within easy walking distance of the bars and eateries.

Of course, there are a few resorts to choose from close to the beach, so why the Phoenician? If the glowing guest reviews are anything to go by, it's not just the fabulous location. Equally important are the wonderful resort facilities, and the gorgeous one and two-bedroom apartments.

Stunning Luxury Apartments

The apartments at this AAA 4-Star rated are standout, that's for sure. For starters, they are extremely spacious, you get a private balcony, the fixtures and fittings are very quality AND you get a fully equipped kitchen. With the spacious living areas and all the great little extras, these apartments are hard to beat.

If you can drag yourself away from your apartment, it's well worth it, as the facilities here are outstanding, with TWO swimming pools - including an indoor pool, spas, sauna, gymnasium, games room, lovely shady barbecue spots and so much more.

The Phoenician Resort really is a fabulous place to enjoy your vacation.

Top Marks For Holiday Accommodation In Broadbeach

It wasn't that long ago that Surfers Paradise was considered the heart of the Gold Coast, but all that has changed. In the last few years, Broadbeach tourism has really taken off, and it's easy to see why.

This lovely leafy suburb perfectly combines seaside charm with modern sophistication, offering something for everyone, from fish and chips on the beach to gourmet cuisine.

And when it comes to holiday accommodation in Broadbeach, the choice is very impressive. Many visitors choose to stay at the AAA 4-Star rated Phoenician Resort and, once they've tried it, they usually return!

Luxury Accommodation, Affordable Prices

Friends of mine tried the resort recently, so I asked them what made it so good. They said there were several factors, the main one being that the Phoenician offers luxury accommodation at an affordable price. That meant they could afford to make it a family holiday, whilst also enjoying a little adult indulgence.

They also found the location to be ideal, just 100m from the patrolled beach - a lifesaver when you have youngsters - but also within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops.

As for the resort's facilities, they were very happy - especially as there are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, plus spas and a sauna.

Close To Theme Parks

Of course, when you have children, no trip to the Gold Coast is complete without visiting at least one theme park! Not only did my friends find it easy to reach the theme parks from their accommodation in Broadbeach but, with the great value family passes, there was plenty of money left over for treats.

And after a long and busy day at the theme parks, how good was it to just relax by the resort pool the next day, and enjoy an early supper on the apartment's private balcony. Perfection!

Broadbeach Luxury Apartments Have It All For An Indulgent Break

Despite the popularity of places like Surfers Paradise in the 80s, it seems to me that even up to a decade ago, many holidaymakers believed only hotels could give them the royal treatment.

True, if you can afford it, a night at somewhere like the Palazzo Versace might indeed make you feel like a royal, or at least a celebrity, but in truth, you can enjoy a fabulous holiday, without the huge price tag, at one of the many Broadbeach luxury apartments.

More and more holidaymakers are realising that Broadbeach apartments really do tick the boxes when it comes to great service, excellent facilities and location.

Best Suburb to Choose

Broadbeach accommodation tends to be near the beach, and within easy reach of all the things that make the Gold Coast famous. In particular, it is THE suburb to choose if you're a foodie, as it's home to the wonderful restaurant precinct and Jupiter's Casino.

I guess it depends what you class as luxury. Personally I don't need gold-plated tapware to fulfil my holiday needs! I'd rather have the convenience and enjoyment of my own private Broadbeach luxury apartment.

Some of the apartments are amazing - especially if you choose a AAA 4-Star rated resort. You can expect a very high level of fixtures and fitting, plenty of room to move, outstanding resort facilities and proximity to the beach.

Definition of Luxury

For example, something as simple as having private laundry facilities in your apartment is a luxury of sorts, as you don't arrive home with a mountain of washing to do!

Luxury is having the choice of sleeping in, or getting up early for a walk on the beach. It's having the choice of enjoying breakfast on your private balcony, or going out for the works. It's finally having time to read that book, while relaxing poolside at your resort.

It's all of these things and you can certainly find them at Broadbeach luxury apartments.
